Over the next few months, Matthew and Louis are aiming to cycle a massive 6,900 km, the distance between Archbishops Holgate School in York and Kisole Baptist School in Uganda, to help raise funds for an amibitious project to build a much needed new nursey at Kisole School.
We are Matthew and Louis, students at Archbishop Holgate’s School in York, and we’ve recently been accepted to join a small group of students who will be travelling to Uganda in July 2027. The main part of the trip will be spent volunteering at Kisole Baptist school where we’ll be helping the Abaana charity build a new nursery for the nursery children who currently have just a basic hut. However, we need to help Abaana raise enough money to make this possible.
